Well Summer is here and we're are looking for fun ways to beat the heat, so Canada is our best choice.

We just love a country that uses a coin called the Loonie and produces top quality talent such as William Shatner, Leslie Nielsen and Martin Short to name a few. Canada is the second largest country in the world by land mass and touches three oceans, so there should be no shortage on sites to see.

The bags are loaded in the station wagon and we're ready to roll. To keep us busy along the way, we can review a little Timothy's trivia. We brought our camera hoping to see a few sales along the way...

Are we there yet?

Timothy's started their first coffee shop in 1975. Since then they have opened more than 130 stores across Canada making them the third largest specialty coffee retailer. What helps set them apart is that Timothy's does their own coffee bean buying and roasting in their plant in Toronto. This allows them to ensure big bold flavor in each cup.

All this trivia has got us thirsty, and since Canada's all about the maple leaf, we decided to pour a cup of Timothy's Sugar Bush Maple from our portable Keurig Brewer to enjoy the big flavor of sweer maple syrup. Ah the aroma!

We decided to pour some Timothy's Noisette (French for Hazelnut). It's one of our personal favorites and should help keep us awake at the wheel. A luscious combination of roasted hazelnut and French vanilla cream, it is Timothy's best-selling flavored coffee.

Every good vacation road trip needs a tourist trap. We found a great little bistro/coffee bar along the way and you wouldn't believe what they served! Timothy's on tap...we must be close to our destination. We were able to bribe the recipe for one of their popular drinks from the server.. Pass it on!

Frosted Mochas
Serves 4

Place hot coffee and chocolate syrup in blender container. Blend until smooth. Cool to room temperature. Pour into a medium bowl. Add softened ice cream and cold coffee. With rotary beater, beat until smooth. Spoon into tall glasses, and serve immediately.
